Product Description

1. Valve: Bag-on-valve (B.O.V.) We are available with both female and male valves.

2. B.O.V.: We can provide a wide range of sizes from 30ml to 650ml.

3. Product: B.O.V.  are suitable for liquids and most viscous products like creams and lotions, across a variety of application areas. They are optimized for oxygen-sensitive and sterile products. Note that dry powders are not compatible with B.O.V. systems.

4. Propellant: Air or nitrogen should be used—never liquid gases.

5. Actuator & Cap: large range of standard actuators are available depending on product demands. Standard overcaps can be used with many types of containers and actuators.

6. Aerosol Can: Standard DOT pressure-rated containers made from aluminium and tinplate can be used. A wide variety of shaped containers are compatible.

Bag On Valve Filling Process

Placing of valve and bag inside the can ➭Crimping and under cup or through the valve gassing ➭ Pressure control ➭ Product flling in the bag and weight control ➭ Actuator and cap placement.

How It Works

Isolation:​ The product is filled into the sterile, flexible inner bag.

Pressurization:​ The space between the bag and the canister is pressurized with an inert gas (e.g., compressed Nitrogen or air).

Controlled Dispensing:​ Upon actuation, the gas pressure evenly compresses the bag, forcing the product out through the valve. The product never comes into contact​ with the propellant or the canister walls.

Near-Complete Evacuation:​ The bag collapses efficiently, ensuring over 95% product evacuation​ and minimizing waste.
